Talk Story Tuesday - YWCA Oahu Dress for Success

AAUW Honolulu has partnered with YWCA Oahu Dress for Success. Dress for Success is more than just a new outfit. It’s about confidence. It’s about enabling women to uplift themselves into higher social economic status. The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Stephanie Hamano, the current Economic Advancement Director, will be sharing the mission and programs associated with YWCA Oahu and the Dress for Success program. Stephanie Hamano enjoys helping women realize their full potential. The Dress for Success program includes interview tips, employment styling, job coaching, and financial literacy classes. Clients can be referred to Dress for Success by community organizations or can self-refer. All services, including styling, is provided to Dress for Success clients free of charge through generous donations.
