AAUW SCHOLARSHIPS & FELLOWSHIPS Thank you for your interest in the American Association of University Women (AAUW). Founded in 1881, AAUW is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the advancement of women and girls through educational opportunities. Each year approximately three million dollars in grants are awarded to qualified individuals. To learn more about the organization and its many programs, please visit the website at www.aauw.org .HONOLULU BRANCH SCHOLARSHIPS & FELLOWSHIPS The Honolulu Branch of the American Association of University Women offers additional fellowships and scholarships to assist women wishing to continue their education in Hawaii. If you are currently attending a college or university within the State of Hawai’i, we encourage you to apply for one of the following Honolulu Branch fellowships or scholarships. Please review the Honolulu Branch fellowship or scholarships below to see which one you are interested in. Click here for the Scholarship Information Request Form. Upon receipt of this request form, we will send you more details on the specific scholarship requirements, application process, and deadlines. * Pacific Fellowship Program Provides funds for graduate study/research or participation in a professional conference or seminar relating to the Pacific Islands or the Pacific Rim countries. * Ruth E. Black Scholarship Provides funds for undergraduate study performed in the state of Hawai’i. * Mary Laughlin Beardmore Anderson Fund
* Tweet Coleman Aviation Scholarship Provides funds for young women seeking to earn a private pilot’s license. Must be an undergraduate student or have a baccalaureate degree. * Ann Clark Nursing Scholarship Provides funds for women enrolled in an Accredited Nursing Program and working towards an advanced degree. If you are not currently a student at a college or university in the state of Hawai`i, we regret to inform you that the Honolulu Branch is unable to assist you with your financial needs at this time. However, we do encourage you to contact the AAUW national office to learn more about the AAUW fellowships, grants and awards offered through their office.
